South Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency has checked 192 locations of Qurban animal slaughtering in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta.

Hasudungan added 125 joint personnel from KPKP Agency, South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Jakarta PDHI, and also IPB School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedicine.
"Those personnel checked 5,093 qurban animals namely 1,486 cows, 13 buffaloes, 3,176 goats, and 418 sheep," he added.
According to him, from the results of the post mortem examination, there were 123.78 kilograms of sacrificial animal organs that were rejected (discarded). In detail, the liver is 90.78 kilograms, the lungs 32.5 kilograms, the spleen 0.5 kilograms.
"We need to make sure that qurban meat is safe for consumption," he continued.
Meanwhile, Riadhul Abidin Mosque Caretaker, Mampang Prapatan, Achmad Zarkasih, thanked the monitoring conducted at the mosque.
"It gives us better knowledge about meat condition. Thankfully meat here is safe," he stated.
